To all Band/Guard parents:

It's time for Verizon Wireless Amphitheater's concert season.  The FZW Band Boosters have
three locations at the VWA where we (the volunteers) serve customers with food and beverages.  When you
volunteer for a shift, you earn $$$ toward your student's band account.  With a band trip to San Antonio in
December, we're hoping that a lot of parents will be interested in volunteering.  For those interested, you MUST
attend a free, one-day TIPS training class (certification lasts for 3 years).  See below for further information:

What:            TIPS training class
Where:            T.R. Hughes Ballpark in O'Fallon
When:            Wednesday, June 2nd
Time:            Registration at 6:00.  Class starts at 6:30 p.m. SHARP.

*** They can only accommodate 60 people.  Seating is first come first serve - no RSVPs.  Although
registration starts at 6:00, we recommend getting there earlier than that to secure yourself a seat.  If you do
attend, it is important that you let either Karen Johnson or Mark Bouknecht know that you completed the training
so that your name can be added to the list of volunteers. ***

You can contact either Karen Johnson at Karen-L-Johnson@CenturyTel.net or
Mark Bouknecht at Mbouky@Charter.net for any questions.
