The FZW Band Boosters help the Band Program through fundraising efforts.  Some of these efforts may help to offset student costs
for Band Camp, Trips, Dues, etc.

Joanne Hoormann (ajhoormann@charter.net ) is our fundraising Chairperson for the 2008-2009 school year.

Student or Parent fundraising options:

Scrip Program (CLICK HERE)
    This program is where we order "gift certificates" and "gift cards" from a "wholesale" company.  The cards/certificates are
    ordered through us at face value, but the company charges us a reduced rate, therefore, we make a small profit.  The profits
    generated are small, but they are consistent.

    If you order scrip and use it as you would cash/credit card/check, you can really raise a substantial amount of money, at no
    extra cost to you.


Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre (CLICK HERE)
    We staff a couple booths during concerts at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Earth City/Riverport.  Earnings from these
    booths have been very good this past year.  These concerts are held throughout the summer season. You must be

Rascals Ballgames (CLICK HERE)
    We staff concession stands at 15 to 25 Rascals ballgames a year.

    You must be 17 years of age and attend TIPS or TEAM training to work this fundraiser.


Heritage Festival
    Students sign up to work shifts at the festival held at our school.  It occurs on one or two weekends in late April.


Butterbraids
    We also hold a sales drive of Butterbraids, a frozen breakfast/dessert pastry.  2008 sale dates are October 17 - October 31.  
    Delivery will be noon on Sat., Nov. 8, 2008.  Profits from the sales go directly to student band accounts.


TJ's Pizza/Desserts
    We sell TJ's Pizza, cookie dough and pies.  

    This year's sale will begin in April 2008, and is due Friday April 25.


Group Fundraisers

Cake Auction
    Students decorate cakes to be auctioned off during our Winter Concert.  There is a live auction during the concert and a
    silent auction with viewing before the concert.


Trivia Night
    The Band Boosters hold an annual Trivia Night.  This year's date will be Saturday, February 7, 2009.  There are silent
    auctions and raffles that are held during this event as additional fundraising.
