WHAT:  A competition trip for the band to San Antonio, Texas, for the Alamo Bowl

DATES OF TRIP:
Departure from O’Fallon - Evening of December 25, 2010
Date of the Alamo Bowl football game - December 29, 2010
Return to O’Fallon - Afternoon of December 30, 2010

PERFORMANCES:
Alamo Bowl Marching Band Competition
       * Winner of competition performs at pregame of Alamo Bowl
Alamo Bowl Parade
Alamo Bowl Massed Band Halftime Show

WORKSHOPS:
Alamo Bowl rehearsal clinics
Concert & Jazz Band clinics

OTHER ACTIVITIES:
Western-style BBQ and “Dude Ranch”
The world-famous Alamo - site of famous battle
San Antonio Riverwalk
Tower of the Americas
San Antonio River “cruise”
Awards dinner and dance
IMAX movie

COST:  Approximately $1000 per student
This depends on the size of our band and if everyone goes on the trip.
Includes lodging, ground transportation, and activity entrance fees.
Includes 4 dinners, 3 breakfasts, and 1 lunch.

*** In order to do a competition trip, we need to have virtually 100% participation. ***
*** There will be numerous activities planned to raise the money, so that everyone can participate. ***

THE TRIP WILL REQUIRE A DEPOSIT of $100.00, and some of that is NON-REFUNDABLE.
If WE (the band) cancel the trip, you will get your money back.
If YOU cancel...
       between now and 10/13/2010, you will get all of your money back, less $50.00.
       between 10/14 and 11/11/2010, you will get half of your money back, less $50.00.
       between 11/12 and 12/28/2010, you will lose all of your money.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE (you may pay sooner than these dates):
Initial deposit of $100.00 was due by January 16, 2010.
Second payment of $400.00 is due by October 1, 2010.
Final payment (approximately $500.00) is due by November 1, 2010.
